Trout Fishery in the Village of Akho

Keda municipality retains a rich environment with ideal hydropower and climatic conditions for the development of aquaculture. Tamaz Nakashidze’s project, a trout farm called “Peranga,” aims to enlarge the already existing farm, arrange additional sewage pools and thus increase the volume of production.
As a result of implementing the project, 7 men and 1 woman will be employed.

European Union funding: 16,000 GEL
Co-funding: 4,000 GEL
